Heinaman Contract Glazing, Lake Forest, Calif., saw sales increase $20 million from 2007 to 2008, as the company worked through a healthy backlog it had built up over several years. John Heineman, president, says the company will continue to work through that backlog in 2009, but company executives and managers are staying vigilant to continue to get new work.

Heinaman and Arcadia addressed the design opportunity to furnish aluminum windows and doors for the prestigious Montage Hotel that initially utilized other framing material to achieve a Historic Early Californian appeal. Due to durability, glass, acoustics, performance and aesthetics the process lead to design improvements which met and out performed spec, budget and schedule. The whole team worked together with enthusiasm to make the job a success for Pankow, Athens, the guests of Montage, and the city of Beverly Hills.

Heinaman Opens New Las Vegas Facility
The
new facility is equipped with a CNC machining center
and computer-controlled, dual-head saw, both of which improve
productivity and accuracy on the fabrication of unitized wall
systems and other types of aluminum framing systems. According
to information from the company, the new facility is intended
to benefit customers in Southern California and Nevada with the
increased efficiency and timely performance for delivery and installation
of unitized curtainwall and window systems. |

Heinaman Breaks Ground on New Vegas Facility

Heinaman Contract Glazing, headquartered in Lake Forest,
Calif., has broken ground on a new facility in Las Vegas.
The company's current Las Vegas office will be moving to
a 20,000-square-foot fabrication facility and 5,000 square-foot
office.
The new facility will be equipped with a Mubea CNC machining
center and computer-controlled, dual-head saw, both of which
are intended to improve productivity and accuracy on the
fabrication of unitized wall systems and other types of
aluminum framing systems. According to information from
the company, the new facility is intended to benefit customers
in Southern California and Nevada with the increased efficiency
and timely performance for delivery and installation of
unitized curtainwall and window systems.
Company representatives report that construction is expected
to be complete by June.
